Rafael Nadal routed Roger Federer 3 sets to love on his way to the fourth consecution French Grand Slam Open on Sunday. Federer seemed out of his competitive form. This was the third lost in a row for Federer as he also lost to Nasal in the previous two years, also in the same final round. Nadal had gone into the final without losing a set. After Nadal won the first set 6-1, he went on consistently lure Federer to play the attack game which on clay did not seem to well suit as Nadal relentlessly punished him. Eventually he won the last two sets with the score 6-3.6-0.
